Dr. Emily received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Purdue University. Having spent her whole life in the Midwest, after graduation Dr. Emily decided it was time to explore the East Coast. When she moved to Boston to attend dental school at Tufts, she met Dr. Dustin and they’ve been doing dentistry together ever since.
Dr. Emily has many achievements under her belt, including graduating magna cum laude from Tufts and earning the Academy of General Dentistry’s “Excellence in General Dentistry” award. She was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society, which only admits 5% of each graduating class throughout the country. You and your family are in good hands with Dr. Emily at Dodds Dental, and you’ll feel right at home with her combination of skill and compassion.

I have been coming to this dental office for many years... from back when it was Dr. Dunsworth. When he retired and sold the business, he did so to a truly great team: Dustin and Emily Dodds, both DDS. The same super friendly staff remains plus some additions. They're all wonderful and I'm sure I can speak for the other clients as well when I say that they do a magnificent job on everyone's teeth. I had the best dental visit at this office. The entire staff is so friendly and professional, and the both Dr. Emily Dodds and Dr. Dustin Dodds are extremely professional and knowledgable. I was late for my appointment and Dr. Emily Dodds took me in after being 25 minutes late due to traffic and did a through and excellent job with my teeth. She stayed late after the office closed which is truly remarkable, and much appreciated. You can tell that she actually really cares about her patients!!
Dr. Dustin grew up right down the street in Westminster and received his Bachelor's degree in Physiological Science from UCLA. After graduation, Dr. Dustin traded year-round sunshine for harsh Boston, Massachusetts winters when he attended the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Dustin earned his DMD and commissioned as a Captain in the U.S. Army along with Dr. Emily. Together, the Dodds’ provided dental care for the soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Now that they are at home in Long Beach, Dr. Dustin is happy to offer quality dental care for the whole family.
